Koko's Cookies - Dank Craft - Dried Flower

Long time grower and self-proclaimed connoisseur of cannabis, here. I acknowledge that I'm pretty particular in my tastes. The good: finished and cured nicely- burns great, if a little fast. Rolls easily. Very potent strain. High is near perfect, oddly clear-headed and not overwhelming for me but still quite strong. The meh: flavor is not good or bad, very mild. Bag/bud smell is kinda rank, not in a great way, for me. Color is dark and deep green not quite brown, which is a bit off-putting for me. Bud structure is whispy, with spires everywhere, like it was grown too hot, and kinda spongy while rolling. Not a deal breaker, but kinda ew for me. Maybe a genetic thing. The bad: Price. For the same money there are much better buds available for similar money. I'm talking bud structure, flavor, bag smell, color, easier rolling, and slower burning bags for similar cost. But I have to say, the high is very good. I'd have passed on this pheno as a grower. I can see why it was chosen, however. It probably yielded very well, and was forgiving to work with. It is very strong and with a somewhat uniquely great high. The high reminds me of the good, European Super Lemon Haze from a dozen years ago. It's maybe a 3.5 star for me overall. But these growers are pretty good for sure. I'd be eager to try what I'd consider better phenos from them. Maybe I'd refrain from such a brutal, painfully long and detailed review in the future. But maybe not.
